El aparato dispone de las típicas bandas de Defensa del Reich. Terminó la contienda con un registro final de 18 victorias incluyendo 3 bombarderos pesados.

Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-1 "1 negro" del Leutnant Heinz Knoke, Staffelkapitän del 5./JG 11, Jevee, mayo de 1943. El sobrenombre de su aparato es en homenaje a su mujer.En octubre de 1944 resultó gravemente herido con un registro de 44 victorias incluyendo 19 bombarderos pesados todas ellas en el oeste y volando en el Bf 109.

Messerschmitt Bf 109 F-1/Z Trop "3 amarillo" pilotado por el Unteroffier Franz Schwaiger, 6./JG 3, Castle Benito/Libia, febrero de 1942. El sobrenombre del aparato corresponde con el nombre de su novia. Alcanzó un registro de 67 victorias y murió al ser ametrallado en tierra por un P-51 tras realizar un aterrizaje forzoso al quedarse sin combustible el 24 de abril de 1944 al norte de Augsburgo. En ese momento era Staffelkapitän del 1./JG 3

Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-2/R1 Trop "13 amarillo" (Wk.Nr.10804), pilotado por el Leutnant Wilhelm Crinius del 3./JG 53. Bizerta/Tunicia, enero de 1943. En la deriva de su caza luce una decoración especial por sus primeras 100 victorias, conseguidas en el Frente Oriental por lo que recibió la Ritterkreuz. Fue capturado el 13 de enero de 1943 cuando no logró regresar de una misión contra Spitfire de la USAF.

Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-4 "7 amarillo" pilotado por el Oberleutnant Wolfgant Tonne, Staffelkapitän del 3./JG 53. Bizerta, Tunicia. Otro ejemplo de Tail art representando derribos y condecoraciones. En este caso representan las 100 primeras victorias con la Ritterkreuz y las hojas de laurel. Tonne terminó con un registro final de 122 victorias acreditadas cuando se estrelló con su "7 amarillo" dañado el 20 de abril de 1943 en Tunis-Protville.

Messerschmitt Bf 109 E (Wk.Nr 6435) pilotado por el Major Diethelm von Eichel-Streiber, Adjutant del Stab III./JG 77 alcanzado por el fuego antiaéreo teniendo que efectuar un aterrizaje forzoso cerca de Molaoi. Sobrevivió a la contienda con un registro final de 94 victorias entre ellas 42 Il-2 Sturmoviks.

Messerschmitt Bf 109 F-4 "doble galón" pilotado por el Leutnant Heinz-Edgar Bär, Gruppenkommandeur del I./JG 77, sur de Italia, julio de 1942. Bär abrió su cuenta personal con un Hawk 75 francés el 25 de septiembre de 1939 terminando con un P-47 el 28 de abril de 1945 a los mandos de un reactor Me 262 del JV 44. En ese periodo un total de 218 aparatos aliados cayeron bajo sus cañones. El aparato mostrado luce un intersante Tail art con las victorias y condecoraciones obtenidas.

Messerschmitt Bf 109 F-4/Z Trop "5 blanco" pilotado por el Leutnant Jürgen Harder, del 7./JG 53, Martuba/Libia, junio de 1942. Harder tenía dos hermanos más, todos ellos pilotos y todos ellos murieron durante la guerra. El sobrenombre del aparato "Harro" conmemora al Hauptmann Harro Harder, Kommandeur del III./JG 53 quién fue derribado y muerto durante la Batalla de Inlgaterra en la isla de Wight.
Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-4/Trop "1 blanco" pilotado por el Hauptman Jürgen Harder, Staffelkapitän del 7./JG 53, Trapai/Sicilia, febrero de 1943. Harder fue nombrado Staffelkapitän de la 7.Staffel el 5 de febrero. Al sobrenombre de "Harro" se le añadió un trebol de la buena suerte.

Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-2/R6 "3 amarillo" pilotado por el Feldwebel Rudolf Muller, 6./ll./JG 5, marzo de 1943. Abajo podemos ver el estado del Bf 109 de Muller tras el aterrizaje forzoso realizado el 19 de abril de 1943. Con 92 victorias en su haber fue capturado por los soviéticos y su destino es incierto. Según fuentes fue visto en una prisión de Murmansk en 1947 mientras que otras afirman que resultó muerto al intentar escapar en noviembre de 1943.
