Hola chic@s os traigo un bombazo de ultima hora, acaba de llegarme un mail de RBA sobre la coleccion de Osprey en el que me envian un link para rellenar una encuesta, creia que seria la rutinaria encuesta para saber el grado de satisfaccion con la Biblioteca Osprey 2ª G.M., y cual es mi sorpresa que segun van avanzando las preguntas veo que me preguntan el grado de interes sobre unos libros de la coleccion "Fuerzas de elite", aqui os dejo el extracto y el listado de las posibles primeras entregas:

Por supuesto he puesto en la escala que mi interes es maximo y a continuacion me han aparecido otras preguntas preguntandome el interes en cada libro concreto:

No quisiera adelantar acontecimientos ni hacerme o haceros falsas ilusiones, pero creo que esta bastante claro que al menos estan pensando en editarla y estan tanteando a la gente para ver que interes puede suscitar, roguemos que asi sea, y si os llega el mail haced la encuesta y por supuesto poned "maximo interes", que no me entere que poneis otra cosa . Se ve que les va bien con las colecciones que estan sacando y se estan animando a editar mas y mas titulos, que asi sea, el unico problema va a ser el espacio...

me parece muy bien que se salgan de sus obras anteriores, tampoco no estaría mal que pusieran en la encuesta que la gente se interesa por su genial saga "Fortress"

de esas obras no sé cuál pondría como más interesante, si acaso marca lo relacionado con la SGM y lo más cercano en el tiempo, me parece que han mezclado algún titulo de la saga "Warrior" como el ejemplar del SOE y no me suena ninguna obra específica de Osprey sobre los Delta Force

Como ompre la coleccion por internet tambien me mandaron el cuestionario. Han metio me parece a mi alguna unidad que no deberia estar, pero en general la he puesto un 5 en casi todo.

Que gran posible noticia !!!! . Esperemos que finalmente saquen adelante dicho proyecto, y si es posble, que sigan en esa senda de publicar todas las obras de Osprey en castellano.

Fortress, warrior, battle order, aviation elite, new vanguard, etc.... Hay tantos y tantos títulos interesantísimos que hasta ahora no se han visto por estos lares ( excepto por el bendito internet ).

esos titulos los tienes reflejados en colecciones antiguas de kiosko distribuidas por Altaya mayormente o Ediciones del Prado como:

"ejércitos y batallas"
"carros de combate"
"aviones en combate, ases y leyendas"

esos titulos los tienes reflejados en colecciones antiguas de kiosko distribuidas por Altaya mayormente o Ediciones del Prado como:

"ejércitos y batallas"
"carros de combate"
"aviones en combate, ases y leyendas"

El problema es que muchas de esos títulos eran/son antiguos ( como los títulos de ejércitos y batallas, que pertenecian a la serie Campaign y Men at Arms ), y otros directamente es que salieron "amputados" ( caso de la colección de ases ). Otras colecciones como Aerospace, Battle Orders o Frontline Colour es que directamente ni han aparecido.

Esa coleccion, que publicó Delprado en su día, la he visto NUEVA (es decir, sin abrir) en los almacenes de la antigua Urbano de Granada. Si alquien está interesado, podría ser una buena oportunidad.
El precio...pues ni idea, estaban empaquetados y había millares de ellos, pero conociendo al dueño sobre 3 euros o así, si se piden varios puede que incluso menos,

En la española son 61 páginas, mientras que la edición inglesa son ¡¡¡ 100 !!! páginas. Es decir que ahí debe faltar algo, pues no creo que con la traducción se pierdan tantas páginas.

De hecho, tengo uan serie bastante grande de osprey Xd ( ) :

El título que aparece de las Waffen SS está bien, pero prefiriría los "más profundos" que editaron en la misma serie Men At Arms, dividiendo su contenido en 4 volúmenes ( por divisiones ). Ya firmaba yo que muchos de los que tengo en inglés los pasasen al castellano ( como los de las series Campaign que publicó recientemente RBA en su colección de la Segunda Guerra Mundial ).

Pues si

Unos cuantos los tengo en PDf descargados de internet, pero la gran mayoría los tengo en papel ya que, por aquellas casualidades de la vida, un amigo de muchos años ( estudiamos juntos en el instituto y la universidad ), trabaja en Londres y como tiene la misma afición ( SGM ), pues siempre le encargo que me traiga un par de libros cuando viene una o dos veces al mes a España.

Además, que dado mi básico nivel de inglés ( ), son libros que, aunque con el diccionario en la mano todo el rato, puedo leer sin muchas dificultades.

por desgracia ya son bastante carillos al publicarse, en casi todos los museos de UK encontrareis sus últimos lanzamientos pero por desgracia no encuentras ningún chollo, para ello hay que comprar de 2ª mano por internet aunque mayormente la gente intenta deshacerse de las ediciones más viejas con 20 o más años de antigüedad

imagino solamente tener una fracción de la serie "Men at Arms", 20 números a 15 libras cada uno suponen 300 libras (337€) y contienen menos de 2000 páginas en total
